The Need for....Cetaphil Review (Beauty Friday)

When I was in middle school and high school I battled with skin problems. Mainly acne. My mom tried helping me find the perfect product but nothing seemed to work. I even tried Pro-Active but that seemed to make me break out more. The summer before my senior year of high school I went to a dermatologist who gave me two acne medications (morning and night) but also told me about Cetaphil face cleanser and moisturizer.

I tried it and liked it. Since I was a high school girl I thought there would be other neat products that are more "popular" at the mall so I would try them. I think I would mess up my skin more by switching products.
About two years ago I finally decided to go back to Cetaphil products and use them consistently. I did and haven't looked back since. The facial cleanser is suitable for ALL skin types and is so gentle and soft on the skin. The Daily Facial Moisturizer is "Lightweight and Non-greasy", which is absolutely true. I also love the fact that it's SPF 15. Depending on the store the products can retail from $5 to $10 each depending on the size that you choose.
My skin looks great and I only rarely break out. I don't even use a medication on my skin anymore. Cetaphil is my main skin care products. I should have really listened to my Dermatologist back in the day and stuck with his advice!
I am not the only one in the home who uses this brand. My husband uses the same Facial Cleanser and Daily Facial Moisturizer as I do and we use the Gentle Skin Cleanser on our son for bath time.
You can find Cetaphil at almost ANY drug stores, grocery stores, and department stores like Target and Walmart.
Cetaphil's Facebook is offering a $1.00 off Printable coupon. Go "Like" their page and print one!

I'm glad you posted this. I recently started using Aveeno Positively Radiant cleanser, which I really like.
But for moisturizer I've been using clinique and it just isn't cutting it. I recently bought the generic equal of the Aveeno moisturizer to try. If that doesn't cut it, I'll definitely try Cetaphil. I've always heard good things about it.

So glad you posted this! I never had any problems with my skin in high school, but it all started after I was 20. I tried everything and didn't see results. A few months ago I went to the doctor and she told me to try Cetaphil and my skin cleared up within two weeks! I have only had a couple of break outs since and even got a compliment that my skin is amazing...never thought that would happen!
